Carol Carpenter Training coaching techniques improve performance and encourage effective teamwork

A division of the financial organisation Hargreaves Lansdowne were keen to adopt a coaching culture to bring performance up throughout the team. All directors, managers and senior staff undertook an initial training workshop over 2 days learning how to coach.



Carol Carpenter Training then provided 1:1 coaching and development back in the workplace which involved observing the 'coaches' in action, providing feedback both verbally and in written form and setting further learning objectives. Work continued over a period of a year with the team of directors to improve leadership and teamwork.

Results achieved were all the managers in the team adopting coaching techniques to improve performance of individual financial advisers, and deeper acknowledgement and understanding of leadership styles between senior management.
